I've been working on this EP for just over a year. I wanted to experiment with new and interesting sounds using a collection of instruments that I enjoy to play. I recorded the drums for the EP using my electronic Roland drum kit. Each track is unique in style, and I have used my voice, The Handpan, Synth, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar & finally Acoustic Guitar to create the soundtrack. Waves is a checkpoint, showcasing my love of experimental music as I continue to grow & evolve as and Artist.

'Bali Steel' contains recordings of the first Bali Steel Handpan I ever got before it was sadly damaged beyond repair during a flight to Sri Lanka. For this reason this track is very close to my heart.

'Slightly Wavy' is an experimental guitar track, combining my love of drums with my new found passion for playing guitar.

'WAVES' is the title track of the EP. On this track I used a microkorg synth to create a multi-layered, experimental soundtrack. I added some vocals for the chorus, as well as some spoken word poetry. I wanted to express a positive message on this track.

'Slowly Does it' is a gentle outro, once again combining my love of drums with some experimental guitar.
